A Ragdoll Kitten Care Guide: Bringing Your Ragdoll Kitten HomeToday marks two years since my beloved Rags passed away.  I CANNOT believe it has already been that long – my heart misses him the most.

He is the reason for this site and that is why his name is in the navigation bar of this site.

Therefore, it seemed fitting to honor him by announcing my first ebook, A Ragdoll Kitten Care Guide: Bringing Your Ragdoll Kitten Home.  After all, he did tell the animal communicator that he wanted me to continue on with floppycats.com as one of his dying requests.

Here is a run down of the chapters that appear in our first ebook – A Ragdoll Kitten Care Guide: Bringing Your Ragdoll Kitten Home.

Here’s a quick outline of what you find in the book.

Chapter 1: Kitten-Proofing and Preparing Your Home and Your “Safe” Room

Chapter 2: First Days with Your Kitten

Chapter 3: Ragdoll Kitten’s Diet Food and Water Bowls

A Ragdoll Kitten Care Guide: Bringing Your Ragdoll Kitten HomeChapter 4: Recommended Scratchers, Toys and Beds

Chapter 5: Carriers and Your First Vet Visits

Chapter 6: Nail Trimming and Grooming

Chapter 7: Litter Box

Chapter 8: Dental Care – Teeth Brushing

Conclusion: Maintaining Healthy Ragdoll Cat

The regular price for the book is $36, but am offering an introductory price of only $18!

  1. This is really exciting news, Trigg and Charlie and Jenny.

    What a cute cover, too.

We’ll be mentioning your new ebook in our ezine and at Kittens ‘n Things, too.

  2. Melody

I am not sure if this is the correct thing to say but … Congrats on your first book/ebook! Is it only available as an ebook? I hope your book becomes so successful that it will be an addition to some or even all Ragdoll breeder’s websites!

  3. Thanks, Melody! Yes, it is only available as an ebook. Why do you ask?

I’d love to get it out on more Ragdoll Breeder websites – if you have any ideas – I am all ears!

I just asked because for the books I read over and over and want to keep, I prefer the physical book over an ebook. I have never tried an ebook yet however, I do plan on getting an ebook system sometime in the future. I will probably like it, but still prefer flipping through real touchable pages for the books I like the most. Just a personal preference – who knows, it might change by the time I need to purchase your ebook! ^^ This is the same reason I prefer old school agendas/planners over digital ones, I like to be able to hold it in my hands and flip through the pages.

No ideas at the moment, although I definitely plan on mentioning it to the breeder that I will adopt from in the future! Hopefully the breeders will spread the message around amongst themselves about your new book and add it to their links page!

  5. This is just an ebook – which means that it comes out as a PDF – so you can print it from your computer and read it that way. I think you can also read it on a Kindle or another book reader device – but it’s more electronic so that edits can be made easily and things added to revise it more quickly.

Unfortunately, I cannot absorb the cost of printing it on paper right now anyway!

  6. Melody

Oh! I had no idea that ebooks were PDF files! Thanks for letting me know lol that changes things. I am a little behind on some of the new gadgets since I do not plan on buying any of them anytime soon, an ebook device does look tempting for the future though :)

  7. Melody

Oops sorry I forgot to ask, how long will the introductory rate be in effect?

  8. Hi Melody – Not sure yet on the introductory offer – at least a month. Thanks, Jenny

  9. Nicky Bunch

Hi Jenny, I just adopted my new ragdoll baby yesterday. Bought your book, and I’m hoping to get some good tips and advice from it, thanks!
