Caymus, one of my parents’ Seal Mitted Ragdoll cats, always crosses his paws when he lays down. I absolutely love it.
Do your cat cross his or her paws? If he or she does, is it always left over right or right over left? I think Caymus is usually left over right, although I cannot be for sure. Is this Ragdoll cat behavior or just cat behavior?
Please feel free to post it through this link, so I can share it wtih other readers.

Sparkle, my Tonkingese crossed her paws. Patches, the calico, crossed her paws. Annabella, the Ragdoll, doesn’t. I think it looks so cute, like they’re just way cool and relaxed
Of course, Charlie and Trigg are just way cool anyway
i agree! they totally look cool and relaxed!!
Well, if that isn’t the most adorable thing ever! Raina does it rarely, but our neightbor’s cat (a barn cat) does it a lot. Isn’t it precious when Charlie does it?
Charlie rarely does it – but Caymus sure does – that’s Caymus in the photos! He’s a doll! I love that the barn cat does!
I just realized I wrote the wrong name…sorry, Caymus!
Alissa – no worries – of all the cats I know Caymus wouldn’t mind – now, Murphy would have been upset – but not Caymus – not an aggressive bone in his body!! =)
My roommie’s cats used to cross their paws, it was so cute. I always thought they looked as if they were royalty whenever they crossed their paws. The smaller black one crossed his paws and would put his head down and take a short cat nap in that position – this was adorable!!
My Siberian crosses her paws, so I don’t think this behavior is limited to Ragdolls!
Do you have a photo of her that you could post on Floppycats Facebook page?
I have tons, but I’m on my iPad right now. As soon as I’m on a computer I’ll post one. However, Siberians aren’t floppy cats, only Ragdolls and Ragamuffins have that distinction. She is a pretty colorpoint though.
